Is there a way to change the font, like if I wanted to use Times New Roman. Also, it always crashes whenever I select the text tool next to all the other tools like bold and fill. Im not even exaggerating. Whenever I tap that button it immediately crashes.

Was able to edit a friends paper with this app from my phone. That should speak for itself.

A lot of the time I find myself working from my iPad to take care of job hunting, sending out resumes, personal correspondence, and the like, without the use of either a laptop or full blown desktop. This is actually a very handy little word processing utility for those occasions and I can attach my files from the iCloud. I have to give it a thumbs up...

Finally, I can write a paper on my iPad and send it to my Mac and printer. Pages didnt seem to work that way. Im delighted!

It lets you download Google documents to your iPhone, and it lets you read and write text documents in landscape. It has no more editing capabilities than iPhone Notes -- no cut and paste, no ability to upload to Google Docs. It does not support iPhone Mail. It does let you move documents from your computer to your iPhone (through Google) so that you can read them, make deletions and additions, and save them on the iPhone. That overcomes one big iPhone deficiency and makes this app well worth the five bucks. Others will prize the larger keys and screen that it provides in landscape mode. That too is worth five bucks. Why doesnt Apple develop a more capable file and text editing platform? If they want Blackberry users to switch they will have to do so.

1) transisoin beteen google docs is rough I got twice as much formating text as my own document I ony wish that it was smother. (If this has been changed please inform me of update) 2) great idea and I know that it is only the .99 cent versoin but unfortoinitly I am highly disapointed please dont let my money go to waste and update tis app into functoinality.

The sync to download docs stopped working. I can upload docs but if I try to download any doc, even the docs created with the app I only get this "text": "Acceda a Google Docs con suCuentaCorreo electrónico:Contraseña:RecordarmeCrear una cuenta ahora_top> No puedo acceder a mi cuenta.2009 Google" All the docs downloaded to the app have the same text. The translation says something like: "accede to google docs with your mail account : Password : Remember create an account now_top> I cant accede my account.2009Google. I mailed them the last week but they dont answered.

Nothing way to amazing, but an amazing concept

I wanted this to be good. I really did. The sync with google docs works seamlessly and is easy to use. However, this app only supports .txt files and screws up .doc and .docx files by showing formatting codes. The keyboard is unbearably laggy when you type, making writing long things a HUGE hassle. Also, such a thing needs a horizontal view. Clunky controls, lag, an lack of compatibility ruin this apps potential.

Just what looking for but creates duplicate when upload

So I was wondering. I havent tried it yet but I want to know 1. Can you take documents off computer. Edit it. And put it on your computer eddited. And if not that would make it so much better please give it that update

This application allows me to take notes in class (landscape mode). It doesnt work properly with downloading my files from google documents but I assume that this will be fixed soon. EDIT: DOWNLOAD IS FIXED (without any formatting though). As others mentioned, some basic editing options would be great, maybe bullet points and bold, italics etc. The online storage with google is a great idea.. Keep working on this guys! This is a great idea! And get apple to allow external keyboards!

Its better than anything else available right now, at least until (if) something like documents to go comes out, or google itself writes a full version of its office suite for the iPhone. Still dont know why apple hasnt written an ipages app itself.

This is one great app. Ive written website articles with it; papers for school; and even this review. I like the portrait-style writing, but one thing I would find useful is a word-count function. Also, the "email" function shows that the sender is from the makers of this product (Savvy Soda), not through my email, so it would be unprofessional to email the document in a business environment. I hope soon that it works with my email accounts that are on the iPhone.

I have tried 8 different apps I have spent over 70 dollers and this one didnwork either. I downloaded my docs from google docs and every paragraph starts with2> help please

I checked this out looking for something that might let me work with even simple google docs on the go - unfortunately the download seems to mess up even simple documents with no formating, and the upload inserts junk characters. Combine this with a somewhat unattractive interface, and I must say "oh well" to my 99 cents.

This app used to work on my iPod touch with the 2.2.1 firmware release, but since I updated to 3.0 it crashes whenever I try to save something.

It has a clunky interface and just barely does what I need it to do. They finally added file rename support a month ago. Google integration is tolerable. iNote is cleaner, easier to use and more functional. You get what you pay for.
